Danfoss to Lead Panel on Whole-Building Efficiency

April 9, 2015
The panel will take place during the Energy Efficiency Global Forum

For the eighth consecutive year, Danfoss will sponsor the Alliance to Save Energy’s Energy Efficiency Global Forum (EE Global). This year’s forum will be held May 12 to 13 in Washington, D.C.

Mark Menzer, director of public affairs for Danfoss North America, will moderate one of the forum’s Executive Dialogue sessions—“What are the necessary steps to creating whole building efficiency?”—on May 13.

Each of EE Global’s Executive Dialogue sessions is designed to provide opportunities for delegates to interact with senior energy officials, thought leaders and experts from across the energy spectrum and the globe in a discussion-based environment. As part of his session, Menzer will be joined by thought leaders from Carrier, ISSO, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and New Buildings Institute to look at the next level of efficiency in buildings, where a holistic approach is key.

Now in its eighth year, EE Global 2015 is an invitation-only opportunity to join hundreds of executives and policymakers from across sectors, disciplines and borders in discussions about strategies and solutions for driving energy efficiency through government leadership, market transformation, the built environment and investment and financing. The goal of the event is to integrate effective policies and business practices into actionable plans for the next generation of energy efficiency.

The inaugural EE Global was held in Washington, D.C., in 2007. At EE Global 2014, more than 450 leaders from around the world met in Washington, D.C., to discuss the role of energy efficiency in the changing energy landscape.
