Whitman Companies Awarded Parks ad Forestry Contract

The Whitman Companies, Inc., a full-service environmental engineering and consulting services company, was awarded a contract to provide environmental consulting and remediation services for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's (NJDEP) Division of Parks and Forestry. Under the contract, The Whitman Companies will provide the NJDEP Division of Parks and Forestry with asbestos survey design and abatement monitoring, demolition design and monitoring, underground storage tank removal and site assessments, and design and oversight of installation of replacement fuel storage systems. "This is a very significant and strategic contract towards advancing our work in the areas of asbestos management and underground storage tank removal, as well as providing expert services for demolition design and monitoring," said Ira Whitman, president of The Whitman Companies.
