Water Planet Announces Two New Hires

Bryce Davis will be R&D scientist and Jeff Koehler specialist technical liaison

Water Planet, a supplier of high-performance membrane-based water treatment solutions, has announced that Bryce W. Davis and Jeff Koehler have joined its team.

Davis has joined Water Planet as R&D scientist. Previously, he was a principal engineer at Polymer Group Incorporated (PGI), an application engineer for Fiberweb plc. and a materials scientist with FibeRio Technology Corporation. He has extensive experience in the field of polymer science where he has conducted research, supported the development of new products and published peer-reviewed articles as an innovative scientist. He received his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of California, Riverside, and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Dallas. Earlier in his career, he served in the U.S. Navy. His professional affiliations include the American Chemical Society and the American Filtration & Separation Society.

Koehler is product development specialist technical liaison for commercialization of Water Planet’s PolyCera membranes. Prior to joining the company, Koehler was principal scientist and director of process development at NanoH2O, Inc./LG NanoH2O, and principal scientist at Nanostream, Inc. He received a M.S. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from California Institute of Technology (Caltech), where he also served as a postdoctoral scholar. Earlier, he was a Camille and Henry Dreyfus Postdoctoral Fellow at the John Hopkins University and a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the American Chemical Society.
