The LVVWD provides water services to more than one million people in Southern Nevada.
The LVVWD intends to use ViryaNet Service Hub for Utilities to improve the operational performance of its field service delivery organization, consisting of approximately 200 field technicians. Using ViryaNet Service Hub for Utilities, LVVWD will automate several of its divisions, including meter services, customer service, distribution, fleet services, and facilities maintenance. The LVVWD purchased the software license for ViryaNet Service Hub for Utilities from Telvent (NasdaqNM: TLVT), a ViryaNet strategic partner, and a provider of services to the LVVWD in the past.
ViryaNet Service Hub for Utilities will optimally schedule and dispatch LVVWD's field service technicians across their service territory, using such criteria as proximity to job, skills and capabilities, work order type, and needed parts.
