ResinTech Buys Another Lab Cartridge Product Line

April 6, 2001
ResinTech, Inc. has purchased Ion Exchange Products, a Chicago, IL based manufacturer of water purification and fluid filtration equipment. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

Ion Exchange Products offers a variety of water purification cartridges for hospitals, pharmaceuticals, laboratories, and other specialty applications requiring high purity water. ResinTech will temporarily move the manufacturing to its Cherry Hill plant until the company relocates to its new facility in West Berlin, NJ later this year. The Ion Exchange Cartridge Product Line will be marketed under the Aries Division.

"This acquisition will further enhance ResinTech’s growing cartridge capabilities by allowing Aries to supply a full range of equivalents including Vaponics™, Millipore™, Barnstead™, Ametek™, and now U.S. Filter™ brand products," said Mike Gottlieb, President.

ResinTech manufactures ion exchange resins, activated carbon, and cartridges for potable and wastewater treatment systems.
