MaxWest Environmental Systems Names New CEO

Steven D. Winchester has been interim CEO since August 2012

MaxWest Environmental Systems Inc. announced the naming of Steven D. Winchester as the organization’s new CEO.

"I am delighted that Steve has accepted the position as CEO of MaxWest,” MaxWest Chairman of the Board Gerard McCaughey. “In both his previous roles as board member and interim CEO, Steve has proven himself to be an outstanding leader and strategic thinker. I am confident that Steve brings the expertise and experience to ensure MaxWest continues to gain market share in the municipal sector."

Winchester, a MaxWest board member since the beginning of 2012, has been leading the company as interim CEO since August 2012. He brings to MaxWest a strong background in mergers and acquisitions and leadership in support of aggressive growth strategies.

Prior to joining the leadership team at MaxWest, Winchester was CEO of Winchester Consulting Group LLC and has served in senior management roles in the water and wastewater divisions of engineering firms Psomas and Black & Veatch.

“I am very excited to lead MaxWest as the company continues to gain momentum in the biosolids industry,” Winchester said.
