With the rapid development of economy and society, the global water environment is faced with the challenge of adapting to sustainable development. Sustainable water environment and water use have become one of the main points of global concern. As the world's largest developing country, China is facing water shortage and water pollution problems due to accelerated urbanization and industrialization. So China takes many strong measures to strengthen research funding in the field of water resources protection and sustainable use.
