Glacier Water Announces Agreement With Pure Fill Corp.

Glacier Water Services Inc. has reached an agreement with the Pure Fill Corp. for the acquisition of virtually all of the assets of the Pure Fill Corp. and its wholly owned subsidiaries ? National Water Services, Pure Fill Finance Corp. and Pure Fill Container Corp.

The acquisition is expected to close this month. No details of the agreement were disclosed.

Glacier Water is active in the water vending industry, providing high quality, low priced drinking water dispensed to consumers through self-service vending machines located at supermarkets and other retail locations. Pure Fill operates approximately 1,625 water vending machines in 13 states with the largest concentrations in California, Florida and Texas. The acquisition will expand Glacier's network to over 15,000 machines located in 35 states throughout the United States.

Brian McInerney, chief executive officer of Glacier Water, said, "We are very excited about the combination of Pure Fill and Glacier Water. Pure Fill has been a terrific provider in the water-vending industry for over 15 years. The two companies complement each other perfectly, sharing geography, customers and consumers."
