From efficiency to self-sufficiency. In many water-stressed areas, traditional measures for increasing water efficiency (water conservation) have gradually evolved toward measures to ensure water self-sufficiency. The case of Barcelona, in Catalonia, will serve to illustrate this concept during the conference.
