EPA Offers Water Quality Standards Academy Training Course in Washington, D.C.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is offering its five-day introduction to water quality standards course on February 25—March 1 and March 11—March 15.

The course is a comprehensive and highly structured course that introduces participants to all aspects of the water quality standards program, including the interpretation and application of the water quality standards regulation; policies and program guidance; and the development of water quality criteria (human health, aquatic life, sediment, nutrient, and biological). The course is designed for those with fewer than six months of experience with water quality standards. For more information on the course, visit www.epa.gov/ost/standards/academy.html.
