ZMI/Portec Chemical Processing Group
The chemical equipment systems produced by ZMI/Portec are the most effective systems for handling bulk materials from storage to processing. They are fully automatic, designed for easy installation and continuous reliable performance in a broad range of applications. Currently these systems have wide acceptance in industries, producing an optimum lime slurry from quick lime and hydrated lime for waste treatment of liquid and air pollutants. Systems are available in two forms: Kem-Tube Systems for installations where production is adequate for storage and processing equipment; and Kem-House systems where much larger quantities of solutions require larger, multiple units.
