Schenck Trebel Corp
Schenck Balancing Machines for the Pump Industry Balancing has a different meaning for a manufacturing engineer responsible for high production, compared to a plant maintenance manager or the owner of a pump service shop that rebuilds and repairs pumps in small lot sizes or one at a time. The manufacturing engineer usually has defined balance tolerances and prescribed methods of correction established by his company’s engineering group. In contrast, pump shops that rebuild and repair pumps must rely on various outside sources of information if they are unable to obtain the manufacturer's standards. Schenck offers a complete range of vertical balancing machines for individual impeller stages and horizontal balancing machines for single and multi-plane pump assemblies that meet, or exceed API, ISO and ANSI performance specifications. In addition, our Computer Aided Balancing (CAB) instrumentation offers a variety of software features specifically for balancing pump impellers that can streamline the balancing process.
