AWWA Conference to Explores Membranes

Membrane technologies are the subject of the Membrane Technology Conference, to be held March 6-9 in Phoenix, highlighting the public health benefits and best practices crucial to delivering superior, cost-effective drinking water.

Cutting-edge topics, including desalination, the basics of membrane technology, membrane plant operations, and membrane processes for water reuse, will be explored at four March 6th workshops.

Technical tours are also scheduled on March 6th afternoon to two facilities using membrane technology, the Anthem Water Treatment Plant and the Scottsdale Water Campus.

Three days of technical sessions March 7-9 focus on the latest advancements in membrane technology and related topics, such as reuse, pharmaceuticals and personal care products in the water supply, and small systems' use of membranes.
