American Water Vice President to Participate in World Water-Tech Investment Summit

American Water, a water and wastewater utility company, announced that Dr. Mark LeChevallier, its vice president and chief environmental officer for American Water, will participate in the World Water-Tech Investment Summit in London from Feb. 22 to 24.

LeChevallier will participate in a panel titled, “Creating the Right Partnerships to Accelerate Technology Development and Adoption” and discuss American Water’s Innovation Development Process, the company’s footprint and technical expertise and some examples of American Water’s recent innovations.

The 2016 World Water-Tech Investment Summit will set the scene for a critical year in water technology innovation and investment. Approximately 250 industry leaders will meet to explore how to harness innovation to address the most urgent issues facing the world’s water supply. Focusing on the need for flexible and adaptive solutions in the face of climate change, expert panelists will discuss new models for smarter, more effective water and wastewater infrastructure and share case studies of best practice from around the globe.
