Yucca Valley Boasts Most Drinkable Water

Yucca Valley, Calif., was awarded at the International Water Tasting competition for having the most drinkable tap water in the nation. Yucca Valley won against 45 competitors representing more than 24 states in the municipal water category. In its 10th year, the competition has grown in size, expanding this year to international entries such as France, Italy and Bosnia, Herzegovina. Other winners included Calistoga Sparkling Mineral Waters of Napa Valley, Calif., awarded for best-tasting sparkling water; Halstead Spring Water of Cumberland Gap was awarded for the best uncarbonated bottled water; and Oazatesanj of Bosnia, was awarded the People’s Choice award for packaging design.(Source: The Associated Press)
