Xylem, a water technology company dedicated to solving the most challenging water issues, has announced that it will launch a new wastewater pumping technology at the IFAT trade show in Munich, which runs from May 30 to June 3. Tomas Brannemo, senior vice president and president transport, will unveil the new Flygt brand system at the event on Monday, May 30, at 1 p.m. at Xylem’s booth 451/550, Hall A6.
“We are very much looking forward to launching this new technology on the market and showcasing it to our customers,” said Brannemo.
Xylem will also launch a new, Flygt-branded compact plug-and-play pump controller with monitoring and control capabilities designed to optimize wastewater pumping efficiency, at the show. The self-contained controller with preprogrammed functionality enables operators to quickly and easily install and configure the unit to match specific wastewater pumping needs.
The company’s solutions for tackling challenging micro pollutants will be displayed at their booth in Hall A3. In addition, visitors to the show can experience Xylem’s Wedeco MiPRO AOP technology in action in the outside demonstration area at the show.
Xylem will sponsor the European Water Assn. events that will take place during IFAT; the “Challenges Arising from Micro-Pollutants in Wastewater, Water, and Environment” symposium from May 30 to June 1; and the “Applying Life Cycle Costing in Public Procurement Procedures of Water Infrastructures” conference.
Francois Audo, Xylem’s regional director for Southern Europe who will present during the latter conference said, “Xylem is dedicated to producing sustainable water and wastewater solutions that have a lower lifecycle cost. Our teams work on this every day.”
Xylem will host three booths at IFAT. Visitors are welcome to explore Xylem’s solutions in Hall A6 at booth number 451/550 and booth 151/250 in Hall A5. A booth dedicated to the company’s micro pollutant solutions can be found in Hall A3 (booth number 442).
