Evoqua Water Technologies LLC announced that Ronald C. Keating has been named CEO, and will be appointed a member of the board of directors effective Dec. 1, 2014. He joins the company from Contech Engineered Solutions LLC, where he has been president and CEO. At Evoqua, Keating succeeds Gary Cappeline, interim CEO and AEA Investors LP operating partner.
“We were very selective in our approach to filling this role and I have utmost confidence in the leadership Ron will bring to the Evoqua team," Cappeline said. Following a short transition period, Cappeline will remain on the Evoqua board.
“Ron is a highly experienced executive who brings an outstanding strategic, commercial and operational background as well as an impressive financial track record in leading several best-in-class companies,” said Martin Lamb, chairman of the board of directors of Evoqua.
“I am excited to join the Evoqua team and to have the opportunity to lead a company with a long history of providing innovation and excellence in the water treatment industry. Under AEA’s ownership, the company has become more empowered, agile, and reactive to market needs and I look forward to continuing that progress as we deliver on profitable future growth,” Keating said.
Keating will be located at Evoqua’s headquarters which is being moved from Alpharetta, Ga., to Warrendale, Pa., also effective Dec. 1.
