SplashLink founder, CEO to remain on committee until 2018

Secretary of Commerce Peggy Pritzker has appointed Ebie Holst, SplashLink founder and CEO, to the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC) as a representative of the water and wastewater segment of the U.S. environmental technology industry.

The committee will provide consensus advice on the development and administration of programs and policies to expand U.S. exports of environmental technologies, goods and services, and products that comply with U.S. environmental, safety and related requirements.

“I look forward to the ETTAC’s development of actionable recommendations to improve the export competitiveness of these important sectors,” Pritzker said.

“The Department of Commerce has distinguished itself as a driver in the U.S. export economy,” Holst said. “I am honored to join their Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee to better enable technologies, specifically those in the water sector, to bridge the gap between their solutions and those who seek their expertise abroad.”

Holst’s appointment is effective immediately and expires Aug. 18, 2018, when the committee’s current charter expires.
