Dec. 28, 2005

WK Dickson & Co., Inc. announced that Christopher M. Nugent has been named the CFO. Beginning January 1, 2006 Nugent's primary responsibilities will include management of both the operating and capital budgets, and leading the accounting, financial management and information technology departments.

Prior to assuming the duties of CFO, Nugent had been the Director of Information Technology with WK Dickson for nearly 10 years and has held a wide range of other technical and management positions. However, for the last four years Nugent has been responsible for developing the intricate accounting and financial systems the firm uses today.

"Chris was instrumental in changing the way we operate internally and has provided outstanding direction for the company's financial operations over the past several years," said David Peeler, WK Dickson's president and CEO. "He brings to WK Dickson strong management skills and a corporate vision of how financial policies and initiatives can advance the firm. We are immensely fortunate to have someone like Chris in this role."

Before joining WK Dickson, Nugent was co-owner of Quantum Enterprises in College Station, Texas. His company specialized in high-end networking solutions for small business. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Nugent received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and went on to obtain his EIT (Engineer-In-Training) certification before joining WK Dickson in 1996.
