Angela Romero | WWD Young Pros

May 25, 2021

Angela Romero’s interest in the water industry began in college and was further sparked by an internship in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. That internship showed her the direct relationship between the environmental engineering she learned about in school and the communities her work could impact. After graduate studies, she got a position with Stanley Consultants, where she has worked for 12 years and is currently a senior environmental engineer.

She also talks about how she gets involved in her local community with volunteerism for local festivals. And she also parallels how her skill set at work transfers to her interest in sewing and costume creation for herself, her husband and her children for Halloween and other events.
