Company is first valve manufacturer in U.S. to be certified to new standard

Val-Matic has announced that it is the first valve manufacturer in the U.S. to be certified to the new ISO 9001:2008 certification after an audit from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. Lloyd’s Register is an accredited certification body authorized to recognize adherence to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards.

The ISO develops standards that play a role in the development, manufacturing and supply of products and serve to make the process more efficient, safer and cleaner. Customers and consumers trust that certification to the ISO standards is evidence of a manufacturer’s commitment to quality. ISO certification is a continual process of evaluation and growth.
