Duraliner and Duraliner 150 Listed Under ANSI/NSF Standard 61: Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects

Underground Solutions, Inc.'s Duraliner and Duraliner 150 water line renewal products have obtained official listing by NSF International under ANSI/NSF Standard 61: Drinking Water System Components.

Duraliner is a patented process for pressure pipe line renewal resulting in a "stand alone" structural pipe lining capable of handling internal minimum operating pressures of 150 psi with a 3.2 safety factor. These characteristics make Duraliner a suitable system for the renewal of the nation's aging underground water piping systems.

For over 50 years, NSF International has developed and maintained consensus standards and certification programs in environmental and public health safety. During that time NSF has become the premier, independent, international, third-party certifier of products affecting public health safety and environmental quality. NSF is recognized and respected worldwide as the leader in these specialties.

The NSF Mark assures that Duraliner and Duraliner 150 meet the requirements of ANSI/NSF Standard 61: Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects. The Mark also communicates to buyers that certified Duraliner products are continually audited and periodically re-tested to assure ongoing conformity to the standards.

Mark Smith, UGSI's President and CEO stated, "The NSF 61 certification is one more step toward establishing Duraliner as the "gold standard" for the renewal of the country's water lines."
