Tori Durliat, director of marketing for Advanced Drainage Systems Inc. (ADS), has been honored as the Member of the Year for 2011 by the Plastics Pipe Institute Inc. (PPI). The award was presented during the international association's annual membership meeting in April. The PPI is the major trade association representing all segments of the plastic pipe industry.

Durliat was selected by her peers in the corrugated plastics pipe division. Her achievements, years of participation and leadership of the group were held up by her peers as benchmarks of her character and devotion to the industry. As part of the PPI, Durliat served as the chair of the CPPA's marketing committee during 2011.

"We are very proud of Tori's record with the PPI, in our company and in the industry in general," stated Joe Chlapaty, chairman and CEO of ADS. "Her grasp of the requirements of rebuilding our nation's infrastructure and formulating plans to expedite the use of corrugated plastic pipe have been remarkable, as is this honor bestowed on her by our industry's leading association."

The Member of the Year award is presented annually by industry peers who have evaluated and voted for one individual from hundreds of PPI members.

"Tori has been an active participant of the CPPA division of the PPI for many years and we value her contribution to the organization," stated Tony Radoszewski, executive director of the PPI. "As a volunteer-driven trade association we count heavily on the involvement of members such as Tori for the broader success of all our members and the industries they serve."
