Taliza Bins has been named regional client engagement manager in the Herndon, Va., office of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering, and program/construction management organization.
In her new position, Bins will support growth of the firm’s national water practice, with particular emphasis on business development in the firm’s Mid-Atlantic region. Additionally, Bins will work to build and further enhance client relationships in the water and wastewater sector by coordinating the firm’s technical capabilities, monitoring project performance and ensuring project delivery.
Bins previously served as a project manager and project engineer for major water and wastewater projects in the Eastern and Midwestern U.S., including combined sewer overflow programs, low-impact development projects, new water distribution pipelines and flood control studies. She was a lead engineer in the St. Louis office of Parsons Brinckerhoff from 2003 to 2006.
Bins received a master of science in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University and a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Missouri. She is a member of the Water Environment Federation and American Water Works Assn.
