Veolia Announces Two New Municipal Outsourcing Contracts

Veolia Water, the water division of Veolia Environnement, announced two new municipal outsourcing contracts in China.

The first contract was signed with the City of Beijing. It covers the construction and operation for 20 years of a wastewater plant in Bei Yuan, which will be built next to the Olympic Village. The contract will generate a consolidated revenue of 20 million euros during the period.

The second contract concerns ZunYi, a city of 600,000 inhabitants in Guizhou Province. Veolia Water will rehabilitate and operate for 35 years the city's two drinking water plants. Conducted in association with Citic Pacific, this project will generate a consolidated revenue of 210 million euros for the period.
