SolarBee has been selected to demonstrate its new THM Removal System at the New Product Technology Showcase, an exclusive exhibit of ACE11. This is the third year that SolarBee has been selected to exhibit a new technology in the Showcase.
The THM Removal System combines the latest mixing and air-stripping technologies to effectively remove all four types of regulated trihalomethanes from potable-water storage tanks. The new system helps municipalities comply with the 80 µg/L locational running annual average limit specified in the EPA Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule.
The THM Removal System can also be seen at SolarBee’s booth (#2010), along with other new products including the GS-12 high-volume, submersible mixer designed for economical, effective tank mixing.
H. Kenneth Hudnell, Ph.D., vice president and director of science, SolarBee, will host a poster session at ACE11 to review the installation and initial results of the THM removal system in operation at the city of Las Vegas. The poster session will be held June 14, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Room 146A of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
