Golder Associates Launches Independent Software Company Based on GoldSim Software

Feb. 2, 2004
GTG will continue to provide software and services that help organizations improve decision-making through simulation of complex systems

Golder Associates, one of the world’s leading engineering and environmental services firms, has sold its GoldSim software business to a group of employees in the Seattle office who developed the software.

This group has formed a company called GoldSim Technology Group LLC (GTG), which will continue to provide software and services that help organizations improve decision-making through simulation of complex systems.

GTG will continue a close relationship with Golder Associates, who will also become one of the new company’s customers. The move fosters faster development of software (e.g. environmental applications), and allows more efficient, client-focused support. The companies will collaborate on projects worldwide, particularly in radioactive waste management, mining and water resources, where the combination of GoldSim software and Golder’s worldwide reach and technical expertise provide great value to clients.
