New Jersey American Water to Host Seniors Festival in Asbury Park

New Jersey American Water is sponsoring its First Annual Salute to Seniors Festival Aug. 1 in Asbury Park, N.J. The event will include 40 exhibitors, and about 700 seniors are expected to attend.

The Salute to Seniors Festival will feature exhibits from utilities, government agencies, health care organizations, crime prevention organizations, legal services, consumer information groups and other businesses.

New Jersey American Water will offer information about customer service and water quality.

In addition, the Ted Plaskey Trio will provide live music at the festival, and attendees can enjoy food and refreshments.

The festival is free to all seniors who want to attend and to all exhibitors who wish to advertise their services for senior citizens.

New Jersey American Water is the state's largest water utility, serving over one million people in 122 communities throughout the state.
