The National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) has announced that Severn Trent - North America has joined as an association member and Stephane Bouvier, CEO of Severn Trent - North America, has been named a member of the NAWC board of directors.
Severn Trent - North America has more than 40 years of operations experience in the water and wastewater industry, currently serving more than 300 clients in 22 states. Its parent company, Severn Trent Plc, also provides support through the sharing of international best practices across the water and wastewater utility value chain. The company announced a new executive team in May 2015 to accelerate its transformation into a provider of contract operations and asset management services to the North American municipal and industrial water sector. Bouvier brings his own track record of growing international service businesses to this effort.
The renewal of this relationship signifies the growing demand for public-private partnerships and the desire of communities across the nation to learn more about the benefits they provide to local infrastructure. As a provider of water and wastewater services, Severn Trent’s membership in NAWC further enhances their work already being done as one of the industry’s voices on behalf of the private water industry.
