Blue-White Industries' Vice President Passes

Blue-White Industries announced the loss of its Vice President of Manufacturing, Ron King (August 1947 - January 2005).

Ron was an important part of Blue-White as a family member, board member and innovator. He was born in West Los Angeles, Calif., the third child of Blue-White founders Ozzie and Frances King.

Ron’s contributions to Blue-White were many and varied. The company was a lifelong career and commitment for Ron. In recent years, he served as the company’s vice president of manufacturing. He was an ace Machinist with exceptional math skills.

In addition, Ron designed the lay out for the shop and manufacturing areas of the new Blue-White Huntington Beach facility, including the design of the state of the art flowmeter testing and calibration department, built to NIST specifications.

Ron is survived by his mother, Frances King, his son Douglas, his sisters Carol Russell (Bill), Janet Gledhill (Robin), Jeanne Hendrickson (Dean), and brother Clyde King (Carole), as well as many family members, friends and members of the water treatment industries.
