Earth Tech Adds New Executives to Capitol District Staff

Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco Engineered Products & Services, and a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services, has appointed two new senior managers to its Capitol District office in Alexandria, Va.

Ken Vinson has been named vice president, senior environmental section manager of the Alexandria office. Vinson will also serve as program manager for three worldwide environmental consulting contracts for the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence and will lead the environmental technical practice in Earth Tech’s Capitol District. Most recently, Vinson was the operations manager for Earth Tech’s Honolulu, Hawaii, office and program manager for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division (NAVFAC EFD Pacific) Comprehensive Long-Term Environmental Action Navy (CLEAN) II and III contracts. Vinson joined Earth Tech in 1993.

John Franz, vice president and operations manager, will be responsible for profit and loss responsibilities for the Alexandria office, which employs 120 employs people. Prior to joining Earth Tech, Franz served as vice president for Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure’s Army programs in the northeast.
