Sauereisen promoted members of its office & research staff

Sauereisen, a third-generation manufacturer of corrosion-resistant materials, announced several promotions of its personnel.

“Sauereisen has always been an organization of continuous improvement, whether in our products, our processes or our personnel,” said Maureen Bankert, controller, Sauereisen. “These recent promotions and expansion of roles and responsibilities are evidence of that and we’re proud to have these talented individuals as part of our organization.”

Kim Gally has been promoted to finance administrator.  Gally’s lead responsibilities are accounts payable, invoice and freight confirmation with a component of material supply.

Pam Semego joined Sauereisen’s accounting department in December 2001 and currently holds the position of financial assistant to the controller. Her role also encompasses credit, commissions and sales tax. Pam’s experience in the Accounting Department has made her a valuable member of the Sauereisen Team.

Vicki Abell has been promoted to billing, credit and collections administrator. Abell started at Sauereisen in 2007 as a receptionist and moved into assisting with accounts receivable and support to the sales and research departments.  When Sauereisen acquired the Pocono Fabricator line in 2007, Vicki assumed the role of administrative assistant with responsibilities including accounts payable, accounts receivable and sales support.

In September of 2007, Patti Kenzie joined Sauereisen in the role of executive assistant and human resource generalist. In the last year, she has taken on more responsibility in the areas of benefits administration and employment processes, including employee engagement, wellness initiatives and corporate events.

In addition to these front office promotions, Sauereisen also promoted Greg Maloney to research manager, overseeing the company’s C. Fred Sauereisen Laboratory.

“Greg has been an impact player for years here at Sauereisen,” said J. Eric Sauereisen, president. “We welcome his experience in developing our laboratory group.”

With more than 25 years of experience in the field, Maloney will oversee Sauereisen’s organic and inorganic technologies. He most recently served as Sauereisen’s Material Manager as well as responsibilities for the company’s risk policy.
