Others Step Up to Meet the Challenge

Eurotherm Controls Inc., a unit of Invensys plc, announces the retirement of its president, Bill Perry, effective December 31, 2003.

During his tenure Eurotherm has witnessed exciting periods of growth and change. Under Perry’s leadership, several businesses were integrated into Eurotherm USA. These include Action Instruments, Barber-Colman Industrial Instruments, Continental Industries and the once separate Eurotherm Chessell recorder business. Perry will continue as non-executive director for the next several months.

John Searle will assume the role of president, effective January 1, 2004. Searle came to Eurotherm through the Barber-Colman Industrial Instruments division when it was transferred into the Eurotherm operation in 1999. John has held several positions in his 10 years with the company, most recently as vice president of Sales.

Al Betz is being promoted to vice president of sales. Betz joined the Eurotherm family in 1999 through the merger of the Action Instruments business. His previous position was regional sales director for the eastern region.
