Pionetics, a developer of drinking water treatment products, announced additions to its senior management team, which will be responsible for executing the company’s product deployment strategy on an international level. Steve Draeger will serve as Pionetics CFO and Bill Thatcher as vice president of Sales and Marketing.
“With Steve and Bill in their respective roles, Pionetics has a top-quality team in place to guide the company forward as we begin to introduce our patented water purification systems in a number of countries around the world,” said Dr. Gordon Mitchard, Pionetics’ CEO. “I am thrilled to be working with such an experienced team, who bring a wealth of international financial management, sales and marketing experience to our company.”
Before joining Pionetics, Draeger was the CFO for two major U.S. law firms. He also held senior financial leadership positions at consumer products manufacturers S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. and Kohler Co., which included assignments in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and the Middle East. Draeger earned an MBA from Marquette University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.
Thatcher brings to Pionetics an extensive background in building and managing international partnerships and overseas distribution channels, having lived and worked on three continents. His management experience includes serving as CEO of Globalstar Middle East and as a vice president of Globalstar, LLP. Prior to that, he held overseas sales and marketing roles for both Magnavox and Trimble, driving sales growth through distributor and agency networks across Europe and Asia.
