Officials intend collaboration to grow municipal on-site generation water disinfection market

Parkson Corp. and MIOX Corp. officials announced yesterday a new partnership to develop the market for on-site generation disinfection systems. Effective June 1, 2011, Parkson officials will market and sell MIOX’s line of proprietary hypochlorite and mixed-oxidant systems to municipal water and wastewater customers in the U.S., Canada and six Middle Eastern countries.

MIOX technology combines salt, water and electricity to replace the need to transport and store bulk liquid or gaseous chlorine. As an exclusive distributor of MIOX, Parkson will provide plants with the technology.
