Pacific Ozone Technology Welcomes Nathan Nevins

July 28, 2006

In an effort to expand its support staff and keep up with growing sales, Pacific Ozone Technology has recently hired Nathan Nevins for the role of in-house service technician. Nevins will help diagnose and service units returning for scheduled and required maintenance.

Having shipped its 5,000th installation earlier this year, Pacific Ozone Technology has the welcome challenge of servicing, upgrading and supporting a growing pool of successful ozone generation systems around the world that provide crucial disinfection for industries such as drinking water, electronics, food processing, beverage bottling and industrial processing.

“I look forward to the hands-on approach at Pacific Ozone,” said Nevins, who recently completed Pacific Ozone’s ‘Ozone 101’ training program, designed to familiarize new employees with the ozone industry’s history and technology. Nevins spent several weeks involved in production of Pacific Ozone Technology’s ozone generators, gaining an intimate knowledge of the parts and subsystems, including Pacific Ozone’s Floating Plate Technology. Nevins added that he also looks forward to the opportunity to taking an active role in improving the technical and organizational systems already in place at Pacific Ozone Technology.

Nevins comes to Pacific Ozone with six years of technical service expertise in the San Francisco Bay Area at Sears, Inc. and CoinMach as an appliance service technician. “Nathan has a good grasp for electrical circuitry,” said Dustin Sudweeks, in-house and customer service technician at Pacific Ozone, “and he is very motivated to learn about the product and to make a positive contribution to the service department and the company as a whole.”
