Osmonics, Inc., Introduces Osmonics Medical Systems

Osmonics, Inc., has launched Osmonics Medical Systems to market water purification systems and related equipment to the medical dialysis market. The new Osmonics Medical Systems division combines 30 years of Osmonics innovative dialysis water treatment expertise with the turnkey capability gained from the 1999 acquisition of ZyzaTech, also a leader in the field. The new Osmonics Medical Systems will combine proven water treatment system designs with complete customer care packages in an effort to improve patient safety and comfort while reducing the overall cost to the clinic of operating the equipment. An increased focus on long term partnerships with dialysis care providers will be a primary objective.

Osmonics Medical Systems products are manufactured at the Osmonics facility in Kent, Washington. According to John Rickert, business manager of Osmonics Medical Systems, "The new Osmonics Medical Systems division allows us to move forward under one name to best serve the needs of our dialysis customers. We will be expanding our offering with new 510(k) compliant disinfection systems and new mixing and delivery systems. It is our objective to offer providers a single source of high quality 510(k) compliant equipment as well as an ongoing service relationship to insure that all components are being well maintained and operating at specified performance levels."

Osmonics is a leading manufacturer and worldwide marketer of high-technology water purification and fluid filtration, fluid separation and fluid handling equipment as well as the replaceable components used in purification, filtration and separation equipment. These products are used by a broad range of industrial, commercial, household and institutional customers.
