NSF Intl. Announces Two New Appointments

NSF Intl. welcomes Anna Schmitt-Reichert and Michelle Rzendzian

NSF International is pleased to announce the appointments of Anna Schmitt-Reichert as Director of Corporate Communications and Michelle Rzendzian as Business Unit Manager for NSF’s Center for Public Health Education (CPHE), a resource center providing high-caliber training and educational programs in the areas of food safety and water quality.


 As Director of Corporate Communications, Anna Schmitt-Reichert oversees a broad range of NSF’s communication initiatives, media relations and promotional activities. She has over 20 years of marketing and public relations experience in education and retail.


 As Development Director for Eastern Michigan’s College of Business, she managed prospect identification, cultivation, donor relations and the stewardship of major gifts. Prior to Eastern Michigan University, she worked as Director of Global Public Relations for PAC Project Advisors, Ltd., responsible for global corporate branding for new business segments. 
Schmitt-Reichert has served as Midwest Marketing Director for Domino’s Pizza, Inc., overseeing the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communication initiatives, new product launches, advertising and sales. While at Domino’s, she also worked as Director of Internal Communications, where she led the implementation of a highly effective communications network and as the Director for National Sponsorships/Promotions in charge of national branding and awareness programs. Schmitt-Reichert has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Eastern Michigan University.

Michelle Rzendzian has been promoted to Business Unit Manager of NSF’s CPHE. Rzendzian joined NSF’s accounting department in 2007, responsible for collection and customer service activities. In her new role, she will support NSF’s mission and expand the Center’s service offerings.


 Prior to joining NSF, Rzendzian worked as a Sales and Marketing Administrator for the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center where she implemented a statewide product branding initiative and coordinated sales and marketing events. She managed training grants and maintained relationships with regional partners, which included economic development agencies, community colleges and manufacturing associations. Rzendzian also worked as an Account Manager for Quanta Incorporated, a company that provides data collection and inventory tracking solutions. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cleary University.

“Anna and Michelle come to NSF with impeccable credentials. Their background in public education, technical services and advocacy will be instrumental in educating consumers and industry alike about the role NSF plays in their business activities as well as their daily lives,” said NSF Vice President William Fisher. “We are extremely pleased to have them as part of the NSF team, as they will both play a critical role in expanding the NSF brand and its educational offerings.”
