NSF International Appoints Senior Vice Presidents

NSF International, The Public Health and Safety Company™, has appointed Lori Bestervelt, Ph.D., and Kristen L. Reimink, CPA, to senior vice president.

As senior vice president and chief financial officer, Reimink is responsible for all financial matters of the company and the implementation of NSF’s acquisition strategy. Previously, she served as vice president of administration, director of finance and controller. Prior to joining NSF, she was a senior accountant at Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). Reimink holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Central Michigan University where she graduated summa cum laude and will graduate this December from the University of Michigan with a Master of Business Administration.

As senior vice president and chief technical officer, Bestervelt is responsible for all laboratory operations and new laboratory technology for NSF product certification programs. She continues to serve as president of The Toxicology Group, LLC. Bestervelt previously served as the vice president of technical operations. Before joining NSF, Bestervelt did post doctoral work at Parke Davis (now Pfizer, Inc.) and served as lecturer and research scientist in biochemistry, toxicology and nutrition at the University of Michigan. Bestervelt holds a Ph.D. in Toxicology, a Master of Nutritional Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Microbiology/Immunology from the University of Michigan.
