Jan. 21, 2002

NSF Intl., The Public Health and Safety Co., announced enhancements to NSF Online. NSF is a provider of standards development, product certification, education and risk-management services for public health and safety.

NSF Online, accessed at www.nsf.org, is an easy-to-use website that provides NSF-certification customers with convenient, secured access to all their account information. Enhancements to the password-protected site include a customized bulletin board listing NSF services that apply to customer-specific industries, online application forms for the Drinking Water Treatment Unit and Water Distribution Systems certification programs, forms for annual certification audits, NSF certification policies and a customer satisfaction survey.

NSF Online, initially launched in March 2001, is a free service for NSF-certification customers. The secured and encrypted business-to-business site includes access to project information, test reports and listing status. Registered users can also access their billing information and make online payments.

"We're excited to offer our customers these enhancements to NSF Online and look forward to future enhancements," said Chandana Kathuria, NSF Intl. chief information officer. "This Internet-based tool provides an efficient way for us to disseminate up-to-date account information to our customers around the world, and we'll continue to invest time and resources to make it even more user-friendly and valuable to them."
