FROM THE DESK OF BOB CROSSEN

Last week, we saw a lot of news about funding reaching projects or projects completed with federal funding. From research on wastewater surveillance for infectious disease monitoring to sewer overflow improvement projects in Chattanooga, it appears that movement is accelerating for water infrastructure projects across the country.

Additonally, last week we published a video interview with the US Water Prize Rising One Water Leader Maura Jarvis. She is the assistant manager for public outreach at Philadelphia Water Department and shared how water became a passion of hers. Perhaps her path will inspire workforce development conversations to ease this major utility pain point.
