Texas Water Utility Employee Found Dead in Tank

May 3, 2004

An autopsy has been ordered after a Harlingen Waterworks employee was found dead in one of the tanks at the Texas utility.

Harlingen police say the body of 40-year-old Armando Cuin was recovered late yesterday at the water plant.

Earlier yesterday, coworkers had reported Cuin missing.

General manager Ron Thomas says Cuin may have been trying to get something out of the water when he apparently slipped into the tank.
