Public Service Enterprise Group Inc.'s 1,049-megawatt Hope Creek nuclear power station in New Jersey shut from about 22 percent power after exiting a weekend work outage.
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission reported that the unit automatically shut on Jan. 29 due to low reactor pressure vessel water level.
Reuters reports that the station was shut down over the weekend to repair a pipe in the feedwater system and to replace a pump seal.
The Hope Creek station, which entered service in 1986, is in Salem County, about 40 miles south of Philadelphia.
