LightStream Brings Advanced Water Disinfection to China

Jon Yi & Co. to Serve as Exclusive Provider of New Pulsed UV Technology

LightStream Technologies, Inc. and Jon Yi & Company, Ltd., jointly announced that Jon Yi & Co. has been appointed the Exclusive Technology Provider of the LightStream LS Series of advanced pulsed UV water disinfection machines in The People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, SAR, Taiwan and Macau, SAR. The five-year agreement balances market exclusivity for Jon Yi & Co. with targeted sales of the product line for LightStream. The first LightStream LSi unit will be installed in China in June 2003.

Josh Lanier, LightStream vice chairman and chief customer officer.

The LightStream LS Series machines advance ultraviolet (UV) light technology and set a higher standard for water disinfection by providing the safest and most precise disinfection without the traditional risks and liabilities associated with the use of chemicals, mercury lamps or ozone gas.
