Level Detector

The OptiFloat level detector is mercury free and operates like conventional float switches, but instead of electric wires, it uses a plastic fiber-optic cable. The level detector is being used to replace mercury floats, which state legislation is banning. The floats can be used in hazardous areas and are rated for 15 million operations, up to 20 times that of electrical float switches.
