Koch Membrane Systems Introduces New Municipal Water and Wastewater Brochure

Jan. 12, 2006

Koch Membrane Systems, Inc. (KMS), a developer and manufacturer of innovative membranes and membrane filtration systems, announced the availability of a new brochure from its municipal business group. The comprehensive brochure details the company’s numerous product offerings, from its complete line of membranes and systems to its extensive service and maintenance programs.

Providing readers with an overview of the municipal water and wastewater capabilities of KMS, the new brochure illustrates the various benefits of the company’s membrane technology with discussions of actual installations at municipalities such as Palm Beach County, Fla., Simmerath, Germany and Littleton, Mass. One of very few single-source suppliers in the industry, KMS designs and manufactures ultrafiltration (UF), nanofiltration (NF) and reverse osmosis (RO) membranes in spiral wound elements, hollow fiber cartridges and submerged hollow fiber modules. Colorful images with descriptive captions provide insight into how these products are used, including the new MegaMagnum element, the world’s first 18-in. diameter spiral RO element.

In addition to the elements and cartridges that KMS manufactures, the brochure also discusses the company’s broad offerings of chemicals and services. A complete line of membrane cleaners and RO and NF antiscalants capable of enhancing membrane performance and prolonging membrane life is featured. Technical assistance is available not only during installation and start-up, but also throughout the life of the system by taking advantage of the customizable KMS ASSIST service and maintenance programs.
