Incidents occurred earlier this December during heavy rains
JMB Construction, based in South San Francisco, Calif., currently is investigating sewage overflows that occurred on December 17 and December 22 near its construction site in Kentfield, Calif.
The company said the new lines it installed were cleaned and video-inspected prior to being placed in service in August 2010. The company is working with Ross Valley Sanitary District personnel to assess and mitigate the damage caused by the overflows. The company continues to examine the causes for the incidents, but knows that each overflow occurred during heavy periods of rain when the Kentfield pump station was shut down. The company said in a press release that it is deeply committed to public safety and environmental responsibility.
