IWEA Presents RJN Group Engineer with Golden Manhole Award

Catherine Morley, P.E., is the 13th recipient of the award

During the Illinois Water Environment Assn. (IWEA) Collection System Seminar on Nov. 15, 2012, RJN Group Inc. (RJN) Senior Project Manager Catherine Morley, P.E., was named the 2012 recipient of the Golden Manhole Award. Morley is the 13th person to receive this award since 1998.

The award acknowledges a person that has made significant contributions in promoting individual professionalism and pride among those working in the design, management, construction, operations and maintenance of collection systems. It also acknowledges contributions to the success of the IWEA and its goals, and effort over an extensive period of time, which has positively contributed to the betterment of individuals associated with collection systems.

Morley has more than 31 years of civil engineering experience specializing in sanitary sewer system analyses and design, storm water management studies and flood relief schemes, construction management, water main replacement and extensions and design of sanitary treatment plant facilities. Her design expertise includes application of “no-dig” technologies, including directional drilling, pipe bursting and lining for water, sewer and storm sewer improvements. She is currently on the board of directors for the Midwest Society for Trenchless Technology.
