ITSI Receives $120 Million Navy Cleanup Contract

ITSI chosen from among 13 competitors

Innovative Technical Solutions, Inc. (ITSI), Walnut Creek, Calif., has been selected by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest to provide cleanup services at Navy and Marine Corps facilities under a Performance-Based Multiple-Award Contract for Environmental Remediation Services (PERMAC).

ITSI said that it was chosen from among 13 competitors for the contract, which has a one-year base period with four one-year options and has a maximum projected value of $120 million over its lifetime. The work will primarily be performed at sites in California, Arizona, Alaska, Nevada, Washington, New Mexico, Oregon and Utah but may also encompass tasks at other facilities throughout the nation. Project scopes may include environmental remediation or design/remediation of media contaminated by solvents, petroleum, metals, bases and reactors found in soils, sediments, groundwater and manmade structures.
