MIOX technology will bring cost reduction & safety to industrial markets

MIOX Corp. has signed a distribution agreement with Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies for cooling tower water treatment, wastewater reuse, industrial water treatment and downstream oil and gas water applications. This partnership joins two industry experts and marks a major milestone for both Veolia and MIOX.

“This is an exciting development for Veolia,” said Nathalie Martin-Ionesco, global director of Hydrex, Veolia’s water treatment chemicals range. “MIOX technology brings a competitive edge to Veolia’s portfolio by effectively removing biofilm, reducing chemical usage and reducing carbon footprint.”

MIOX has spent the last decade expanding its industrial cooling tower installation base and developing technologies that support water management and recycling for industrial and oil and gas applications.

“MIOX technology is scalable to meet water challenges of any size,” said Cem Candir, MIOX vice president of sales and marketing. “Our proprietary on-site chemical generation process brings a unique, cost effective yet powerful product to traditional water treatment.”

This new arrangement with Veolia is consistent with the MIOX approach of establishing long-term partnerships with quality companies that have the ability to focus on specific market segments in select geographies.
